Temple Church (c) James Dacre

The Globe’s King John is now entering the final week of rehearsals and according to cast member, Laurence Belcher,  technical rehearsals are taking place. Friday is the first night preview, and the first chance to see Alex play the Bastard in King John on this five venue tour.

Yesterday, the director, James Dacre tweeted this photo of Temple Church which is the first stop on the tour. It sounded from James’s tweet that lots of work is going on to get the Temple Church ready for the first preview night.  Hundreds of candles are being installed as well as walkways and hand-painted drapes are being added he said in his tweet.
